In the modern world there is a large number of dangerous, a lot of them are connected with modern technologies and specially with the Internet. How can we be prepared for this problems? Can we be safe in the global web?

There are lot of things that we could do for our safety in IT world. Firstly, we can put our computer devices in a safe space in our homes or offices. In organisations we must care about server security, and that means - serves must be situated in proper locked, dry place and the access to it must be strongly secured. Server security should be on the first place in our list of things to do in our company. Nevertheless in our huses we don’t need to have a forceful server, so we must secure only our devices. Secondly, we have to pay appropriate attention to our Web provider, is it a good and certificated company? The third thing to do is veryfied antivirus shield in our computer, we need to be aware that Internet gives us us a lot of possibilities, but also many dangers. Using the Web we have a relation with the whole planet, we can exchange our thoughts and knowledge, but unfortunately there is as well a space for extremist actions and greedy. The global Web should be a place of freedom where people can exchange their ideas and increase their knowledge.

It is an great invention, because in one place we have got all wisdom of humanity, unfortunately we have all stupidity to. A large noumber of the Web sites are done only for entertainment, so we have hours of records about cats plays or such a thing like a 8 hour film of a sound of a hair dryer (a lot of children go to sleep when they hear that sort of thing). On YouTube we have a outstanding old films or we can look for sites with MIT lessons, but also thousands of websites with teenagers video blogs, which are a sort of modern diary for teenagers. We must remember – every single thing that we post in the Web stays in the Web, therefore when we are a teenage girl with problems with teachers and with acne don’t post it in the Internet , because you could find this film after 20, 30 years and you will just want to deleted it, however if you are a teenage girl who has an important information to share or you are a member of some charity organisation say what you want to say loudly, that everyone who want to hear it had a possibility to hear your speach.

Now we must secure our computers from dangerous (viruses, hackers), but first of all we need to prevent ourselves from flood of useless news and carefully decide what we need to read and see in the Web.
